interesting but somehow keeping the cost factor in mind, cos there many other issues in our country as well..sukhoi still looks better.

Su-30 MKI is better in all, as per its weight, Weapon carrying capacity & thrust vectoring, its the best aircraft of Indian air force.

There are other important parameters not listed here like long term reliability, endurance with low service, usability on rough fields, required knowledge of service personnel, required fuel quality… which are significantly better for Su.
Overall Rafale is quite good plane for peace service or some local colonial engagements while Su is very good sturdy war plane for rough environment which will fly until being destroyed.

One big difference betwen Sukhoi 30 and rafale is that Sukhoi-30 is not at all stealth, it has maximum RCS whereas Rafale has a great degree of Stealthness and has very low RCS lower than F-16. Second difference is its self defence system which is unique.

Rafale does not have better stealth ability than Su-30. Both plane dont have stealth, Rafale is smaller and that is little “adventage”. I think that Su-30 is lot better than French Rafale. Hope that you agree.

Indian politician are fool or making the country men fool. If we have war plane like Su 30 Mki, then there is no need to spend 10.4 billion USD in such a useless deal. rather the huge amount should be used in indigenous MMRCA & FGFA.
